The rooms

Five rooms, no two alike

All five rooms are in the old lodge and the former stable, traditionally furnished and each with its own private bathroom. Below are working names — the details are being confirmed, so treat sizes and layouts as a guide rather than a contract.

Bedroom with a red-painted wooden bed dressed in striped folk textiles, an antique painted Saxon cabinet on the wall and woven rugs on the floor
Detail of the red room: painted wall cabinet with folk motifs above the bed, woven bedspread with red lettering

The Red Room

Warm, low-lit and a little theatrical — the most Transylvanian room in the house. A red-painted bed dressed in striped wool, folk rugs on the floor and an antique painted cabinet on the wall. The windows open onto the quiet of the courtyard.
