The rooms
All five rooms are in the old lodge and the former stable, traditionally furnished and each with its own private bathroom. Below are working names — the details are being confirmed, so treat sizes and layouts as a guide rather than a contract.
Warm, low-lit and a little theatrical — the most Transylvanian room in the house. A red-painted bed dressed in striped wool, folk rugs on the floor and an antique painted cabinet on the wall. The windows open onto the quiet of the courtyard.
Bright and calm: whitewash, old brick and morning light. A canopy over the bed, the original timber ceiling above and a blue-painted nightstand for your book. It looks out toward the garden side of the house.
Sage walls, lace curtains and the soft green light they make together. Two beds and a daybed make it the room for three, or for spreading out. The windows frame the vines in the courtyard.
Tucked under the roof beams, up its own painted staircase. A hand-painted wardrobe, a chandelier and a bathroom in blue tile behind the yellow door. From up here, the rooftops of the village begin below the windowsill.
The old stable of the house, beams and all, turned into the most rustic of the five. Antique wooden beds under a red wool blanket, and a sliding barn door instead of an ordinary one. It opens toward the back of the courtyard, where the hill begins.
